Integration von Wartungsarbeiten, Unterstützung des Flug-/Fahrzeugbetriebs, Planung von Wartungsarbeiten ohne Verbindung), um Missionsbereitschaft, Ressourcenzuweisung, Fähigkeitsplanung und Konformität in klassifizierten, hybriden, vor Ort und ohne Verbindung durchgeführten Operationen sicherzustellen.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten
- Entwerfen, konfigurieren und pflegen Sie Strukturelemente (FE) und Strukturelementstrukturen in SAP S/4HANA D&S - einschließlich TOE (Table of Organization & Equipment), ORBAT (Order of Battle), Unterstellungsverhältnisse, Sensitivitätsstufen und mehrere parallele Strukturen (Friedenszeiten, Übungen, Operationen, Krieg)
- Implementierung organisatorischer Flexibilitätsfunktionen für dynamische Änderungen der Streitkräftestrukturen, der Ressourcenzuweisungen und der nachgelagerten Auswirkungen auf Personal, Ausrüstung, Finanzen und Logistik - zur Unterstützung einer schnellen Rekonfiguration im operativen/Missionskontext
- Integrieren Sie das Organisationsmanagement in die SCM-Prozesse - einschließlich der Logistikstrukturen, der Verwaltung der persönlichen/funktionalen Ausrüstung, der Bestandsbereitstellung, des Katalognachschubs, der Leihgaben und Pools sowie der nicht verbundenen Liefervorgänge
- Konfigurieren Sie die MRO-Integration in D&S - für die Planung/Ausführung von Wartungsaufgaben (auch ohne Verbindung), den Einbau/Ausbau von Ausrüstung, die Verfolgung der Zeit seit dem Ereignis, die Planung von Flug-/Fahrzeugpools und die Unterstützung der Basis-/Komponenten-/Linienwartung von Verteidigungsanlagen

- Durchführung von Folgenabschätzungen und Konfiguration für D&S-spezifische Erweiterungen (z.B. Force Management Applications, RANA (Roles and Authorizations controlled by Action and Information), Object Role Change, Mission Task Lists)
- Zusammenarbeit mit funktionalen D&S-Teams (HR, FI, Logistik, Instandhaltung), militärischen/planerischen Stakeholdern, Sicherheitsbeauftragten und Programmleitern, um die operativen Anforderungen im Verteidigungsbereich in SAP-Organisationskonfigurationen umzusetzen
- Sicherstellung der Einhaltung von Verteidigungsstandards (nationale Klassifizierungen, NATO-Interoperabilität, Rahmenwerke des Verteidigungsministeriums), GDPR im Personalkontext und Programmsicherheitsanforderungen für klassifizierte Organisationsdaten

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP Defence & Security (D&S) Organizational Management Professional with deep expertise in Organizational Flexibility, Force Elements, and integration with Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) processes within SAP S/4HANA Defence & Security environments (including DFPS compatibility scope where relevant).
This contract role supports mission-critical, long-term public sector / defence programmes across EU-based initiatives. You will focus on configuring and optimizing the core Force Element (FE) structures that model military/police/aid organizations' hierarchical units (from headquarters to teams), enabling dynamic organizational flexibility across peacetime, exercise, deployment, and wartime scenarios.
Key emphasis is on integrating Organizational Management with defence-specific SCM (e.g., logistics structures, stock provisioning, equipment loans/pools, replenishment) and MRO (e.g., maintenance integration, flight/vehicle operations support, disconnected maintenance planning) to ensure mission readiness, resource allocation, capability planning, and compliance in classified, hybrid, on-premise, and disconnected operations.
Ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in regulated defence/aerospace ERP implementations, where organizational structures drive force generation, readiness analytics, logistics, and maintenance processes under strict NATO/MoD/national security frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain Force Elements (FE) and Force Element Structures in SAP S/4HANA D&S — including TOE (Table of Organization & Equipment), ORBAT (Order of Battle), subordination relationships, sensitivity levels, and multiple parallel structures (peacetime, exercise, operations, war)
- Implement Organizational Flexibility features for dynamic changes to force structures, resource assignments, and downstream impacts on personnel, equipment, finance, and logistics — supporting rapid reconfiguration in operational/mission contexts
- Integrate Organizational Management with SCM processes — including logistics structures, personal/functional equipment management, stock provisioning, catalog replenishment, loans & pools, and disconnected supply operations
- Configure MRO integration within D&S — covering maintenance task planning/execution (even disconnected), equipment installation/removal, time since event tracking, flight/vehicle pool scheduling, and support for base/component/line maintenance in defence assets
- Perform capability planning and readiness analytics by linking Force Elements to personnel data models, equipment, tasks, and cost objects — ensuring accurate modeling of force life cycle support and mission requirements
- Conduct impact assessments and configuration for D&S-specific extensions (e.g., Force Management Applications, Roles and Authorizations controlled by Action and Information (RANA), Object Role Change, Mission Task Lists)
- Collaborate with D&S functional teams (HR, FI, Logistics, Maintenance), military/planning stakeholders, security officers, and programme leads to translate defence operational needs into SAP organizational configurations
- Ensure compliance with defence standards (national classifications, NATO interoperability, MoD frameworks), GDPR in personnel contexts, and programme security requirements for classified organizational data
- Support system landscape transformations (e.g., DFPS compatibility to native D&S), upgrades, custom developments (Fiori apps, ABAP extensions), and disconnected scenario testing
- Define and enforce governance for Force Element master data, structural authorizations (RADS integration), and audit trails in high-security environments
- Provide expertise on Fiori-based apps (e.g., Manage Force Elements) and innovations in S/4HANA D&S roadmap (e.g., enhanced disconnected ops, capability/readiness analytics)
- Contribute to documentation, best-practice blueprints, and training for defence users managing organizational structures in SAP
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 6–10+ years in SAP Organizational Management / HCM or related functional areas, with 4+ years in SAP Defence & Security (D&S / DFPS) or equivalent high-security military/public sector implementations
- Hands-on experience with Force Elements, Organizational Flexibility, and force structure modeling in SAP S/4HANA D&S
- Proven expertise integrating OM with SCM (logistics, equipment management, provisioning) and MRO (maintenance planning, asset management) in defence contexts
- Strong knowledge of SAP authorization concepts extended by D&S (e.g., RADS, structural authorizations tied to Force Elements)
- Understanding of defence processes (force generation/employment, capability planning, readiness tracking, disconnected operations)
