A growing organization in Chicago is looking to add a Workday Payroll Analyst to their HRIS/Finance systems team. This role will focus on supporting and optimizing Workday Payroll, working closely with HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders to ensure payroll processes run smoothly and accurately.

Requirements Description:
3–6+ years of Workday experience, with a strong focus on Workday Payroll
Hands-on experience with Workday configuration and payroll processing
Experience partnering with Payroll or Finance teams
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Experience with Workday reporting (Advanced, Matrix, or Calculated Fields a plus)
Experience supporting Workday releases and testing
Tasks Description:
Act as the primary support resource for Workday Payroll, handling configuration, troubleshooting, and day-to-day system support
Partner with Payroll, HR, and Finance teams to translate business requirements into Workday solutions
Support payroll processing cycles, ensuring system accuracy and resolving payroll-related issues
Maintain and enhance Workday payroll configurations, including earnings, deductions, and tax setup
Build and maintain Workday reports and dashboards for payroll and leadership teams
Support Workday releases, testing, and system updates
Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and automation
