Software Engineer JAVA/SPRING/KAFKA - Senior On-site/Remote - Luxembourg - 6 months

We are looking for a JAVA software engineer for an EU institution in Luxembourg.
 
Start of Assignment: 28/01/2026
End of Assignment: 30/06/2026
 
Requested profile: 1 Software Engineer JAVA Senior On-site: 11 person-days Remote: 103
Daily rate: max EUR 300 (blended rate)
Profiles to be proposed at the latest for 19th of January 26.
EU Residency required
 
Requirements:

• Java programming focusing on back-end development and Spring Boot
• Object-oriented design and programming
• Test automation, test driven development (cucumber is an advantage)
• Build, deployment and release automation using Jenkins or
• GitHub for source control and release management

 
Tasks to be performed:
Development of interfaces within the TRM Connectivity Module that is a Java, Spring Boot based component exposing TRM data via web services and updates the TRM application bases on incoming events via Kafka. The development work will be focusing on using proper software design constructs, object-oriented design and programming, appropriate usage of design patterns and test-driven development. The interfaces to implement will be primarily focusing on receiving market data information and importing them into TRM.
