Product Manager

About the Role

We’re looking for a Product Manager to take ownership of product direction and help drive what gets built—and ensure it delivers real results. This role will focus on evaluating existing product lines that are scaling, exploring new product opportunities, and shaping experimental initiatives involving emerging technologies such as AI.

You will be responsible for identifying the most important problems to solve, making clear product recommendations, and ensuring that product decisions translate into measurable outcomes. This role requires someone comfortable operating in ambiguity, making thoughtful trade-offs, and holding themselves and the team accountable for impact.

You will work closely with engineering leadership and company executives to align product priorities with business goals. The role is based in New York City with a hybrid schedule (2–4 days per week in-office). You’ll collaborate with a small, highly focused product and engineering team and play a key role in shaping product strategy as the organization continues to grow.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys turning complexity into clarity, driving decisions with data and user insight, and helping teams move quickly while staying focused on the problems that matter most.

Responsibilities

  • Define and prioritize product initiatives based on customer needs, business impact, and strategic opportunities.

  • Ensure the engineering team always has clear direction on what to build next, including the problem being solved and why it matters.

  • Conduct product discovery through conversations with users, customers, and internal stakeholders to inform product decisions.

  • Establish success metrics and track performance against them using dashboards and analytics tools.

  • Analyze results and identify areas for improvement when metrics or outcomes fall short of expectations.

  • Evaluate incoming feature requests and opportunities, ensuring the team focuses on the highest-impact initiatives.

  • Balance product ambition with lean execution, identifying the smallest viable solution that delivers meaningful value.

Qualifications

  • 4–8 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in product management, ideally in a startup or similarly fast-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical skills and comfort using data to inform decisions.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, design, and leadership teams.

  • Ability to communicate clearly, influence decisions, and challenge assumptions when necessary.

  • Resourceful and highly accountable, with a willingness to step in wherever needed to move initiatives forward.

  • Comfortable using spreadsheets and analytics tools; experience with SQL or building dashboards is a plus.

  • Interest in how AI and emerging technologies can improve both internal workflows and product capabilities.

Preferred Background

  • Experience as an early product hire or the first product manager at a startup.

  • Experience working on AI- or LLM-driven products.

  • Background building products that require deep understanding of user needs and behavioral insights.

This role is ideal for a product manager who thrives in early-stage environments, enjoys shaping product direction from the ground up, and wants to make a meaningful impact by building products that solve complex real-world problems.
