SAP Project Lead – SAP S/4HANA Service Management Migration

Next Ventures are executing a search for a an experienced  SAP project manager(Scandinavian language speaker) Swedish Or Danish . A Project Lead to drive a critical SAP S/4HANA migration initiative focused on transforming our Field Services operations.

Ideally a SAP project manager with strongunderstanding of  SAP / Non SAP Service management principals .

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for migrating from legacy Project WBS and PM Work Orders to the modern SAP Service Management (SM) module. You will lead the integration of service contracts, service orders, billing, and pricing processes while ensuring a smooth transition of historical data and open items.

This is a high-impact position for someone who thrives in complex, business-critical transformations within the field services industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end S/4HANA migration activities with strong focus on the Service Management (SM) module.
  • Design and implement integrated processes for service contracts, service orders, billing, and pricing.
  • Drive the transition away from traditional Project WBS elements and PM Work Orders to the new SM operating model.
  • Oversee Migration Build and Execution, including data cleansing, mapping, historical data migration, and open item handling.
  • Apply SAP Activate methodology throughout the project lifecycle (Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy, Run).
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders in Field Services to quickly understand and optimize current operating models and processes.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, risks, resources, and budget while ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Coordinate with technical teams, integration specialists, and external partners/vendors.
  • Ensure compliance, data integrity, and minimal business disruption during cutover and hypercare phases.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience leading S/4HANA migration projects (greenfield, brownfield, or selective data transition).
  • Strong domain knowledge in Field Services / Service Operations industry – ability to rapidly grasp business processes and operating models.
  • Deep hands-on experience with SAP Service Management (SM) module, particularly:
    • Service Contracts
    • Service Orders
    • Billing and Pricing integration
  • Demonstrated success in migrating from Project WBS / PM Work Orders to SM processes.
  • Solid expertise in SAP Activate methodology.
  • Strong background in Migration Build and Execution, including handling of historical data, master data, and open items.
  • Excellent project leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Previous experience in Field Service Management (FSM) solutions or integrations (e.g., SAP Field Service Management).
  • Knowledge of related SAP modules (CS, SD, PM, FI/CO).
  • Certification in SAP S/4HANA or Activate.
  • Experience with data migration tools (e.g., LTMC, Migration Cockpit, DMIS).
