The opportunity

A specialist SAP HR consultancy is looking for an experienced SAP HCM Payroll Consultant to strengthen its growing team in Germany.

You will advise customers on the design, implementation and optimisation of hybrid SAP HCM solutions, with a particular focus on SAP HCM Payroll and Employee Central Payroll.

The position combines hands-on configuration, customer consulting and project responsibility. Depending on your experience, you may also lead workstreams or complete projects throughout the entire delivery lifecycle.

Your responsibilities

• Advise customers on SAP HCM and hybrid Payroll solutions
• Design, configure and implement SAP HCM Payroll and/or Employee Central Payroll solutions
• Analyse customer requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions
• Support projects throughout the complete lifecycle, from initial analysis and solution design through implementation, testing and go-live
• Lead project workstreams or complete projects, depending on your level of experience
• Support customers following implementation through application management and continuous system optimisation
• Prepare and deliver customer workshops
• Contribute your technical and functional expertise to the development of Payroll solutions and internal best practices
• Collaborate with customers, project managers and other SAP HR specialists

Your background

• Relevant project experience designing and configuring SAP HCM solutions
• Hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas:
  • SAP HCM German Payroll
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll
  • Hybrid SAP HCM and SuccessFactors landscapes
• Understanding of business analysis, solution design, configuration and implementation
• Knowledge of HR and Payroll processes
• Experience supporting implementation or transformation projects
• Ability to work independently and approach complex requirements analytically
• Structured, responsible and solution-focused working style
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Customer- and service-oriented approach
• Willingness to travel when required by a project
• German at native or C2 level
• English at C1 level or above

• Project or workstream leadership
• Project, cost or budget planning
• Application management or production support
• Customer workshop facilitation
• SAP HCM and SuccessFactors integrations
• Payroll transformation or migration projects
