SAP Finance & Fund Management Consultant – Danish Speaker
Next Ventures are currently executing a search for an experienced SAP Finance & Fund Management Consultant with strong functional expertise in SAP FI/CO and Funds Management (FM) to join our clients team. The successful candidate will support SAP Finance transformation (Green Field SAP S4 Hana) implementation, and ongoing development activities, working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams.
Fluent Danish and English are required for this role.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support SAP Finance and Funds Management implementations and enhancements.
- Configure and maintain SAP FI/CO and Funds Management (FM) solutions.
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into SAP functional solutions.
- Support budgeting, fund allocation, commitment management, availability control, and financial reporting processes.
- Work with stakeholders to improve finance and fund management processes.
- Prepare functional specifications and work with technical teams on developments and integrations.
- Conduct system configuration, testing, defect resolution, and user acceptance testing.
- Support data migration, cutover, and go-live activities where required.
- Provide production support and resolve complex SAP Finance issues.
- Deliver training and documentation for business users.
- Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams across Finance, Procurement, Controlling, and other related areas.
Required Experience & Skills
- 5+ years of SAP Finance experience, preferably including SAP Funds Management.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP FI and SAP FM.
- Good understanding of SAP CO and integration with Finance.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting and management accounting processes.
- Experience with budgeting, funds, commitments, availability control, and financial reporting.
- Experience working through the full SAP project lifecycle, from requirements gathering through implementation and support.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Experience in Agile and/or traditional SAP project environments.
Language Requirements
- Fluent Danish – mandatory
- Fluent English – mandatory
- Ability to communicate complex financial and SAP concepts clearly to Danish-speaking business stakeholders.
Desirable Skills
- SAP S/4HANA Finance certification.
- Experience with SAP Fiori.
- Knowledge of SAP integration with MM, SD, PS, or Procurement.
- Experience with SAP Grants Management or Public Sector Management.
- Experience with SAP migration and data conversion.
- Knowledge of SAP reporting and analytics.
- Experience in Danish or Nordic public-sector / government environments.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a hands-on SAP Finance professional who combines strong FI/FM functional knowledge with excellent stakeholder-management skills. You should be comfortable working independently, translating business requirements into practical SAP solutions, and operating in a complex international environment.
A strong understanding of Danish finance processes and the ability to work directly with Danish-speaking users will be particularly valuable.
