Job Title: Senior SAP BW / BW on HANA, eHANA Developer
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP BW Developer with strong expertise in BW on HANA (eHANA), HANA XSA, and SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ). The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end data modelling, reporting, and performance optimization, working closely with business and technical teams to deliver scalable analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain BW objects (InfoObjects, ADSOs, Composite Providers, InfoCubes).

• Build and optimize data flows using DTPs, Transformations, and Process Chains.

• Develop HANA Calculation Views, CDS Views, and work with HANA XSA services.

• Implement Open ODS Views and HANA-optimized data models.

• Extract data from SAP ECC/S4HANA and non-SAP systems using ODP, SLT, and other ETL tools.

• Design and develop BOBJ reports, Universes, WebI, and dashboards.

• Optimize queries and data loads for performance in HANA and BW environments.

• Provide production support, troubleshooting, and data reconciliation.

• Collaborate with functional and technical teams on data architecture and integration.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of SAP BW development experience, including BW on HANA.

• Strong expertise in SAP HANA modelling, SQLScript, and XSA.

• Hands-on experience with SAP BOBJ (WebI, Universes, Dashboards).

• Experience with S/4HANA integration and data extraction.

• Knowledge of performance tuning, process chain optimization, and LSA++ modelling.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and Datasphere.

• SAP BW/HANA certification.

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Experience in large-scale ECC → S/4HANA migration projects.

Soft Skills

• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.

• Ability to mentor junior team members.
