Contract Type: Freelance / Contract (Initial project engagement, potential extension)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Workato Developer to join an exciting project for a European client. This is a fully remote contract opportunity for someone who can start immediately and contribute from day one.

You will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing integrations using Workato, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable and reliable automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations using Workato

• Build and optimize complex recipes, connectors, and workflows

• Integrate SaaS platforms (CRM, ERP, HR, Finance, etc.)

• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues

• Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into automation solutions

• Ensure best practices in security, scalability, and performance

• Document solutions and provide knowledge transfer where required

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven hands-on experience with Workato (mandatory)

• Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, and data transformation

• Experience integrating common enterprise systems (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, SAP, Workday, etc.)

• Solid knowledge of JSON, HTTP, and authentication methods (OAuth, API keys)

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

• Strong communication skills in English

Nice to Have

• Experience working with European clients

• Familiarity with iPaaS architecture and integration best practices

• Background in software development (JavaScript, Python, or similar)

• Experience in enterprise integration environments
