Network Security Consultant 

Summary Description:

2x Network Security Product Engineers to support the design, implementation, and monitoring of secure enterprise network infrastructures with a focus on Zero Trust architecture and automation. This is a Sweden-based contract role with remote work allowed and regular travel to Gothenburg and Södertälje.

Role Type: Contract (1 year + ext) 

Start Date: Immediate to latest by 10th August 2025

Location: Sweden (Remote work allowed, with regular travel to Gothenburg & Södertälje)
Language: English (Swedish beneficial but not required)

Requirements Description:

• 2x Network Security Product Engineers

• Must be based in Sweden (Work-from-anywhere in Europe is not permitted)

• 12+ years in network security roles

• Must have experience with Zscaler, firewalls, and Zero Trust architecture

Tasks Description:

• Perform security assessments (penetration tests, vulnerability scans)

• Design and implement secure network architectures (firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption)

• Respond to alerts using SIEM tools

• Enforce IAM and NAC policies

• Ensure compliance with security standards

• Collaborate across teams and align with ITSM & CMDB processes

• Participate in audit readiness and governance activities

Essential Skills/Experience Description:

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline

• Deep understanding of network security, encryption, and Zero Trust

• Hands-on experience with:

• Zscaler Private Access & Internet Access

• Firewalls: Cisco, Palo Alto

• IDS/IPS and SIEM tools
