Director SAP (f/m/d) – Go-to-Market & Business Development
About the Role
For an established international technology organisation, we are looking to appoint a Director SAP (f/m/d) with a clear focus on go-to-market strategy and business development.
This position sits within the senior leadership team and carries full responsibility for driving growth across the SAP business. The role combines sales leadership, market positioning, and close alignment with delivery to ensure sustainable and profitable expansion across key industries and accounts.
Key Responsibilities
• Ownership of revenue, order intake, and growth targets within the SAP portfolio
• Definition and execution of go-to-market strategies across industries and regions
• Development and management of a qualified pipeline, from origination through to deal closure
• Leadership of strategic pursuits, including deal structuring, positioning, and negotiation
• Close collaboration with account leadership and delivery teams to ensure successful execution
• Alignment of global SAP capabilities with regional market requirements
• Identification and development of strategic partnerships to support growth objectives
• Continuous refinement of SAP offerings in line with market demand
• Establishment and maintenance of senior client relationships at C-level
Your Profile
• Proven experience in a senior SAP leadership role, with responsibility for sales and/or business development
• Strong track record in shaping and closing complex SAP transformation programmes
• Solid understanding of go-to-market models within the SAP ecosystem
• Established network across enterprise clients and partners
• Ability to operate effectively at executive level and influence key stakeholders
• 15+ years of relevant professional experience
• Structured, analytical, and commercially focused approach
